Create a poker room and invite your friends
Set up an online poker game for your own group, without registering accounts. Friends join your room by link or code and play from their phones. If you play without a shared screen, everyone sees the table on their own device.
1. Choose your poker room settings
Open CHUMiX on your phone and choose “Create room”. Set 2–9 seats, starting chips and blinds for your group. Take a seat if you want to play; the host can also manage the room without being seated.
2. Share the invitation
Send the lobby link to your friends or show them its QR code. They can also choose “Join a game” and type the six-digit room code. Each player enters a name and joins a free seat.
3. Start when everyone is ready
With at least two players seated, the host chooses “Start game”. If a countdown is already visible, wait for it to finish. Later hands start automatically.
4. Follow the table on your phone
Without a connected shared screen, CHUMiX displays the table on phones automatically. Peek at your cards and use the action buttons when it is your turn. The how-to-play guide explains the controls and hand rankings.
Questions before your first game
Can we add a shared screen after starting?
Yes. Choose “Connect shared screen” from the lobby or room menu, then pair a TV or use a laptop or tablet.
Which link should I send my friends?
Use the invitation generated inside your room. It contains the room code, so friends join the same game instead of creating another room.
Can we play online from different places?
Yes. Each player opens the same room over the internet; sharing a Wi-Fi network is not required. Use the phone-only setup so everyone can follow the table. For conversation, use a separate voice or video call.
Who can join our poker room?
Anyone with the invitation link or room code can reach the room. Share it only with your group if you want to play with friends.
Can we play without internet?
No. CHUMiX synchronizes the game over the internet, so every phone and connected shared screen needs a connection.
Can I keep the game in my usual browser?
Yes. Open the invitation in the browser you want to use. If a QR scanner opens a different browser, enter the room code in your usual browser instead.
